Voice quality is ok but it definitely seems that when both parties are talking, it cuts out.Next phone wont be a samsung. Outside of that, its slim and has great battery life. The interface is just plain terrible. Ive owned this phone for well over a year and frankly, am dissappointed. No voice dial and a speakerphone that is basically unusable due to its ridiculously low volume.
It wouldn't have taken up much more room. As others have said, the main screen is gorgeous.-MicroSD card. Can't charge while listening to music AND you have to buy special headphones. Both my digital cameras are SD.All in all, not a bad phone. Although it's much more durable than a plastic LG phone I had before, they should have sprung for metal. I got this phone after having a Black RAZR (with battery and connectivity issues) and have enjoyed it so far. Cons-No voice dial. I wish everyone would just go to the same charger already.
Why not just use a standard headphone jack in addition to the charger. Great feature, but I can't use it in anything else I own. I've had really good luck with the battery, but I let it get almost completely discharged before I charge it again. Could be better. Yeah, trivial, but I really like the color.-Screen. Motorola has figured it out, what is taking everyone else so long.-Delay in turning on the mini screen on front. I've had 4+ hour phone conversations and the battery was still going strong.-It's red. I still don't understand this.-Plastic case.
That's a real pain.Pros-Battery life is great. I want to push the button and have it turn on immediately.-Headphone jack is the same as the charger. -The phone end of the charger. You have to hold the volume button down for 3 seconds before the screen is visible.
I have tried other brand phones but I believe that Samsung makes the best products and will continue using Samsung till I find something better, which I really don't think will happen. In the 2 years I've had my Sync I have never had a dropped call, my battery has never died and I have had not a single complaint.Love, love. I don't "play games" with my phone, I use it to make phone calls and this is by far the best phone I have ever had. My 2 children and my sister have different brands and they have all had problems. love my Sync. It exceeds all the expectations I had and is even better than my inside lines. Even though I am eligible for an upgrade and I will be gettin a Blackjack for free I will probably continue to use my Sync.
It supports a good variety of file types, and the software (PC Studio) can convert the song to a type playable by the phone. I have owned this phone for almost a year. Its decently well-built, sustaining many small drops onto pavement and tile. It seems that the antenna isn't too good, and it can go from a spot with really strong 3G reception to poor EDGE connection in a distance of 10 feet, even outdoors.
Whenever the phone changes from 3G to EDGE, it uses an immense amount of processing power from the phone and that uses the battery fast, and it freezes applications and can screw up emails that you are typing. The IM client on the phone never really worked, and would often loose connection and drop messages both ways. I have noticed that places where I get low signal strength the media player ends up skipping like a scratched cd for a second or will have pauses in playback on my bluetooth headphones. Typing texts gets laggy, which can sometimes be a nusiance.
3G is wonderful.it loads streaming videos faster than any other phone I have seen. Battery life was acceptable.nothing special but it will get you through the day with average usageHowever, when the media player is playing music, the phone slows to a crawl to try and do anything. Its a very nice phone, its not too big, not too small. The camera is very good, as far as mobile phones go.
The media player is.decent. The screen has an amazing resolution, which is so crisp it almost looks like looking at a picture. I also have the laptop connect addition to my plan that allows me to connect my phone to my computer and use the 3G wherever I get signal instead of having to get another device to plug in.
if you get this phone i doubt you will regret it. i've been due for an upgrade for quite awhile now and i just cant part with this phone. this is the best phone ive had and ive had quite a few. i recieved this phone as a refurbished model after 2 sony ericsson phones died on me. its that good. i get service in elevators, no one i know gets service in an elevator (including those on verizon). i must tell you this phone is really great, i get service everywhere i have at & t which i had in the past and must say they have improved dramically. the only drawback to this phone is the picture quality, which to me is really not a big deal, thats why i have a camera.
